The management of university of energy and natural resources has released the admission requirement for 2021/2022 academic year
When it comes to high education in Ghana, university of energy and natural resource has a good truck records. The university provides a diverse selection of undergraduate and postgraduate programs; degree, diploma, and certificate courses.
The university is a multi campus set-up and currently has three campuses located in Sunyani, Nsoatre and Dormaa Ahenkro.
This article contains the official admission requirement for university of energy and natural resources (UENR). Applicants are to read through very carefully to know if they fall in with the official requirements before making an attempts to apply.
Candidate who are willing to gain admission to university of energy and natural resources must meet this requirement for admission.
Admission requirements
Student who completed senior high school and are willing to gain admission to the university are to meet the following criterial provided by the school management:
(a) 4-Year Degree Programmes
i. SSSCE holders with credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A-D) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 24 or better.
ii. WASSCE holders with credit passes (A1-C6) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A1-C6) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study with an aggregate score of 36 or better.
iii. GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE) holders with credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
iv. ADVANCED LEVEL holders with credit in at least Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the subjects relevant to the programme of study.
v. FOREIGN APPLICANTS who have any of the above qualifications or their equivalences from an accredited/recognized institution.
vi. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Other qualifications acceptable for consideration include International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, American Grade 13 Examinations and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the WASSCE/SSSCE and the GCE (A Levels).

How to Apply
Applicants are to purchase E-VOUCHER at all branches of Ghana commercial bank, post offices, finance directorate UENR main campus, Sunyani.
Moreover, Applicant’s can visit UENR Accra office, located in the NCTE building on the trinity Avenue near Bawaleshi traffic light, East Legon to purchase E-Voucher for the application.
All applicants are required to complete the online application registration at admissions.uenr.edu.gh/using the Voucher Number and PIN.

Documents required for the application includes:
- copies of result slips
- birth certificate and
- passport picture
Candidate are to submit two (2) copies of completed online application forms together with certified copies of result slips and birth certificates (Photocopies).
The application forms must reach the senior assistant registrar, academic and students’ affaire division of university of energy and natural resources, sunyani before 8th may,2021.
Applications that reach the University after this deadline will not be processed.
