The Netherlands government’s scholarship is a scholarship program funded by the Dutch government to support capacity building in developing countries. It was formerly known as the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) and was rebranded as the Orange Knowledge Programme in mid-2017. This program is managed by Nuffic, the Dutch organization for internationalization in education.
The main objective of the Orange Knowledge Programme is to contribute to the sustainable development of the participating countries by providing opportunities for professionals and individuals to study or receive training in the Netherlands.
Through the program, participants can access higher education, short courses, and training programs that are relevant to their countries’ development needs.
Also, the program aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of organizations in partner countries by empowering individuals with new knowledge and skills. By creating a network of alumni who have studied in the Netherlands, the program also encourages knowledge sharing and collaboration among professionals from different regions.
