Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) Undergraduate Local Scholarship Application for 2022/2023 academic year
Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) Scholarship Application was establish to help brilliant but needy student. This initiative by the Government helps Ghanaian student to study both locally and abroad. GETFund was establish by an act of parliament in 200, Act 581 for the development of education in the country.
The Ghana Education Trust Fund has opened their portal for Undergraduate local scholarship application 2022/2023 academic year.
What does GETFund scholarship cover?
GETFund scholarship covers the tuition fee and supplying of educational resource to support students in the second cycle institution across the country.
Who Qualifies to apply for the GETFund scholarship?
The basic eligibility requirement is for an applicant to be a Ghanaian Citizen followed by all other requirements as stated on the Scholarship application portal. This is a free scholarship for students in all local tertiary institutions, accredited by Ghana Tertiary Education Council who run undergraduate courses (Diploma, HND, and Degree programs).

The application requirements/documents for the Ghana Education Trust Fund scholarship is as follows:
Note: Applicants are to upload scanned copies of the the required documents during the application process.
- A copy of signed application letter. ( the letter should be addressed to “The Administrator, GETFund; P. O. Box 254, Accra”)
- A proof of Nationality (passport/ National Identification Card)
- Also, Admission letter clearly stating the program duration
- copy of approved fee schedule
- Furthermore, a copy of WASSCE, CTVET and any other certificate recognized by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission

- visit the official GETFund scholarship application portal via the link scholarships.getfund.gov.gh to sing up
- After the signup, enter the username and password you used to signup in order to login
- Also, you are to fill the scholarship application online
- and finally, submit your application.

Application Deadline
GUTFund opens applications every year for qualified applicants.
- The effective opening date for application is Monday, 24th January 2022
- And the closing date for application is Monday, 28th February 2022.
Note that, candidate with false information or deliberately misleading information when filling out the scholarship application form will be disqualified.
